It has been about 25 years since I have experienced such a free hearted summer as I did this summer. I so want to remember this so I can apply some of the same factors I did in years to come. It has something to do being consciously aware of the season I am in. It also involves an almost radical release of my will; along with my attachment to controlling the situation presenting from my will manifests. But allowing the ease of the flavor each season naturally contributes into the dynamic brings such a sweetness into the practice of life acceptance.
How can I express that in a more grounded articulation? For example, summer has this flavor that invites me to take off my shoes, kiss and then tuck my mind’s voice away on a top shelf, tie up my hair to let the sun on my shoulders, and allow myself to turn off. I did that in spades this year. Spending a glorious May in Denmark helped heaps in releasing my will and surrendering to the sheer beauty that is Denmark in the month of May. 🙂 Choosing to take off the whole of my dear friend’s visit here in July provided another opportunity to let go. YAY self empowerment! How marvelous was this summer!
Now we are in Autumn. Just in, being that the first day of Fall was yesterday! Happy Fall to you all! :). This season is about harvesting. For those who know me, I wax holographic; if it is in nature, it is in our nature as well. So…now it is time to get down to business, utilizing all that flourished in the abundance of the summer. Our culture supports nature in this (or is it the other way around?:)) by having school start now. It is time to replace my shoes and get back to work.
Theoretically, if I really released my will in the summer, I will have plenty of abundance to utilize. Personally, you see it here! My new and improved website as a non denominational spiritual advisor. I am so pleased and delighted and curious to see how being in contract with Natalie at Hole Punch Design until Jan 2015 will support and grow my practice!
Ah….and….I want to apply the same tools to Fall as I did to summer. Letting go of my will and letting myself trust that path I am on is just the perfect one for me. I make the most of my abundance easily and with joy by relishing being a part in Nature.
